Finally, yes finally we got to leave the house and eat! After a wander around Chester City Centre with the dogs I left them and my husband on a bench and wandered into the Chester Market Hall. I’d heard good things about a taco joint hidden at the back…..

I found it and luckily got served immediately by the really friendly staff. The chap came out and explained the menu to me as I didn’t want anything super ‘heavy’ and I learned each taco portion came in a three and was enough for one person. As this was more of a light bite situation I decided on one portion and a side of chips.

I went for the Chorizo Taco and a side of chips and salsa. I then got to watch as the chef made it all fresh in front of me. The smell was glorious. The pan fried Chorizo was topped with ‘Pico de Gallo’ salsa, soft cheese, sour cream, coriander and a few little lime wedges. The chips (yes I naively thought French fries 🙄) were topped with the same soft cheese and came with lots of pots of salsa to dip in.

These were bagged up for me and I took them back to my husband who was waiting outside. They went down a treat! So so so so good. I was generous and let him have two of the tacos. Such an error, I wanted more! Next time hey!
Their tortillas are handmade and are 100% gluten free, there’s veggie and vegan options and it was just all so nice. Next time I’ll sit in I think but there’s not too much space. All Covid rules were adhered to and obviously as it’s indoors the weather didn’t matter.
I’m just excited about going again already! If you’ve not seen this place before you have to go check it out!
