Haute Dolci, Cheshire Oaks

Another short one today, involving much sugar, ice cream and even some fruit. For health reasons of course 😜

Haute Dolci is a successful dessert brand that serves innovative and decadent sweet treats in a beautiful environment. The Cheshire Oaks store, which is actually on the Coliseum near the cinema, opens at midday everyday and is where myself and my sister decided to enjoy a late lunch.

The interior was very stylish and we were served pretty rapidly. I ordered a Cinnamon Latte and my sister a Café Latte. But we weren’t here for the drinks and we immediately began searching the extensive dessert menu.

I went for the Belgian Chocolate and banana pancake stack. Fresh pancakes loaded with bananas, molten Dolci milk chocolate sauce, fudge pieces and served with a scoop of Madagascan vanilla gelato.

After drenching my pancakes in the little jug of hot chocolate sauce, it froze to the ice cream and created a little shell. Utterly divine.

My sister chose the Sticky toffee banana french toast. Thick slices of Brioche, toasted and coated in crunchy honey flakes, with caramelised banana, sticky toffee fudge sauce, pecans and gelato.

We both demolished our plates and had a lovely time. I’d definitely go back. Their menu states they offer gluten free and vegan options, plus it’s not all desserts either believe it or not. You can order burgers and salads too! I guess not everyone loves sugar as much as I do!
