We have a new Chinese restaurant in Little Sutton, Ellesmere Port and myself and a friend were lucky enough to have a sneak preview of the ‘dine in’ menu last night.
Ateyate has opened in what used to be Cafe India, but was previously one of my favourite Chinese restaurants the Tai Ping. So I was over the moon to hear that it was becoming a Chinese again. The owners are friendly and really enthusiastic so I think this will be a great addition to the local area. And it opens for dine in customers TONIGHT!

The interior is bright and comfy and the menus are extensive, including ‘make your own’, banquets and even gluten free options.
I went for the Sizzling fillet steak in Cantonese sauce. Placed onto a hot plate to sizzle and packed with onions and that sweet sauce, I devoured this beautiful dish really quickly, despite it being something I wouldn’t normally choose.

Yasmin chose Tofu in Satay sauce from the make your own menu and some salt and pepper chips. I also ordered a sneaky plate of spring rolls as I always get them with a takeaway, and it’s always good to compare right? I even got some gluten free Beef Ho Fun noodles to take home to my husband.

The food was packed with flavour, fresh and came in huge portions. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite and will definitely be returning with friends and family. My husband also really enjoyed his Beef noodles and seen as it’s so rare to have gluten free options at a Chinese restaurant, I’ll be bringing him along too no doubt.
So so happy this place has opened 🥰
