A Taste of Mexico on the Wirral 🇲🇽

In 2021 @pinalocawirral opened on Allport Lane in Bromborough. Offering tacos, burritos, bowls and small plates I was excited to receive an invite from the lovely owner Babul. I was then even more excited to hear they could cater to my husband’s allergies.

Here’s what we tried:

🌯Friday Burrito (Chippy tea in a Burrito!)

As you can see, the food was stunning. Both to look at and to devour! It was so hard to take pictures and not to dive right in. We definitely over ordered but how could you not? The corn ribs were the best I’ve tried and a fish n chip burrito? I couldn’t resist.

And Steve was the happiest and most relaxed I’ve seen him in a restaurant since his coeliac diagnosis. Babul was extremely knowledgeable and reassuring, having personal experience of food allergies, and so Steve ordered and ate without a worry. He loved the sticky wings and the freshness of the tacos.

I can’t recommend this little gem highly enough. For those with food allergies as well as those without. What an absolute joy it was to eat here. I think we’ve found our new favourite place!
