It was finally time to enjoy a meal out with friends we hadn’t seen in 18 months. A table was booked at one of the three curry places in Little Sutton and we arrived ready for some curry. The staff found our booking and dragged a few tables together. We ordered drinks and began perusing the massive menu whilst chomping on poppadoms.
For starters I chose a chicken chaat on puris. I love a bit of bread and the puffed bread of a puri is delicious. It was enormous but I loved every bite. Everyone else had various kebabs.

For mains I went with a reliably tasty Chicken Tikka Masala, cooked in a mild tangy and creamy sauce with various nuts. My husband had Garlic Chilli Chicken and our friends had Chicken Narangi, a medium curry cooked with spices and fresh orange. We shared mushroom rice and garlic and Peshwari naans.

It was lovely to eat something so incredibly flavourful with a glass of fizz, with good friends and good conversation. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks, even my house white wine improved the more of it I drank 😂 my only complaint would be that there wasn’t enough bottles of hand sanitiser about and whilst the waiters wore their masks correctly, the supervisor/manager seemed to think he didn’t need to.

Congratulations on finally seeing your friends! Indian food would also be our pick for such an occasion 🙂 It looks so delicious.
