Sprout Kitchen Garden, Ledsham

Yes I’m writing about Sprout again and I’m sure it won’t be the last time. This trip was for breakfast, which I’m usually not up early enough for, but I’m off there again to tomorrow to try a new small plates menu, yay!

So, I met a local friend for brekkie and I asked to try a drink I’d only seen on the socials. Turns out it’s not on the menu yet but we were lucky enough to have a try. I went for a beetroot latte and my friend a turmeric one. The beetroot was earthy and spicy and the turmeric was sweet and fragrant. Keep an eye for when they arrive proper!

Anyway, the food. I went for a veggie breakfast, but being the anaemic person I am, added black pudding. I chose poached egg, and that came along with chargrilled Halloumi, roasted herb potatoes, spinach, mushrooms, sliced avocado and sourdough toast. Usually there’s beans too but ick.

My vegan friend obviously went for the vegan breakfast. Homemade falafel cakes, roasted tomatoes, spinach, mushrooms, baked beans, avocado, herb potatoes and sourdough toast.

Both breakfasts were delicious and I finally got to meet the lovely manager Beth. How we got out without taking one of the amazing bakes home though I’ll never know…..
