Happy 16th Birthday Etsu 🥳
@etsurestaurant has been on Beetham Plaza in Liverpool for 16 years today! This lovely spot was one of our go to’s for fabulous Japanese food for a long time but I think it’s been about five years since we’d been. Thinking they’d not be able to cater to Steve’s food allergies, I’d not tried to book, but messaged randomly one day to discover as everything is made fresh, they could feed him after all. He was so excited! I mean, just look how beautiful the food is…..
I had:
ETSU ROLL
Cucumber, avocado & sesame rolled in seaweed & rice, topped with tobiko & fresh tuna mixed with spicy mayo, spring onion & tanuki
SEARED SALMON NIGIRI
TUNA SASHIMI
TORI GYOZA
Chicken & vegetable pan fried & steamed dumplings
Steve had:
GYU YAKI NIKU
Sirloin steak pan fried in a Japanese garlic & sesame sauce
NIGIRI MIX SET
SASHIMI SET
YAKITORI
Chicken skewers pan fried in Chefs teriyaki sauce
The staff were great at checking everything for Steve, they even had a bottle no soy Tamari that tasted just like Soy sauce for him to use. I’m still trying to source that if you know anywhere by the way!
This wasn’t a cheap meal but it was stunning, fresh and was the perfect date night spot. So so happy to discover we can actually eat here again 🥰🥰
